Information for Presenters
The latest program for the Conference and Showcase is here. If you cannot present during your assigned time, please let us know as soon as possible.
Notes for all presenters:
- All presenters will use the laptop provided during the Conference and Showcase sessions to ensure a smooth transition between presentations and to keep us on schedule.
- We have created a Google Drive folder to collect presentations.
- Please drop your presentation file in the appropriate folder no later than 17:00 UTC on May 30.
- Please use a telling filename that has your name in it (e.g. “Caitlin Perry – IIIF Intro, Showcase.pptx”).
- Please plan to bring a backup version of your presentation
- During your presentation, you will be given the following time warnings: 5 minutes remaining, 1 minute remaining, time’s up.
- Please take a moment during the breaks or registration to test your slides with Glen Robson. If you have video as part of your presentation, you must come during the registration portion to test your presentation’s sound.
- NOTE: If you need help creating an accessible presentation, please review the “Creating Accessible Presentations” webinar from the 2017 DLF Forum, organized by our partners at CLIR+DLF.
For June 1 Showcase Presenters:
- All presentations will occur at Tolhuistuin.
- The Showcase will start at 1:00pm CEST. Please plan to arrive at 12:30pm to check your slides with Glen Robson.
- There will be an event organizer, timekeeper, and AV point person on site during the Showcase.
- Presentation lengths vary; check the schedule to ensure you adhere to your allotted time.
- Drop your slide deck here no later than 17:00 UTC on May 30. Please use a telling filename that has your name in it (e.g. “Caitlin Perry – IIIF Intro, Showcase.pptx”). Bring a backup to your presentation.
For June 2 and 3 Conference Presenters:
- All presentations will occur at Scheltema Leiden.
- All presentations will be recorded.
- Please check the schedule to determine the time allotted for your presentation:
- Lightning talks are 5 minutes
- Presentations are 15 minutes
- There will be IIIF staff, local volunteers, a timekeeper, and AV point person available.
- Please be sure to check in with staff / event organizers prior to your session.
- If you are a poster presenter, please review the poster requirements here.
- Drop your slide deck here for Tuesday sessions and here for Wednesday sessions. Please share your slides no later than 17:00 UTC on May 30 and bring a backup to your presentation. Please use a telling filename that has your name in it (e.g. “Caitlin Perry – Lightning Talk, Wednesday.pptx”).
For June 4 Birds of a Feather/Workshop Organizers:
- All sessions will occur in the National Library of the Netherlands and the National Archives.
- There will be IIIF staff and local volunteers in each building.
- Each room will have a laptop, screen, and projector. You should use your own laptop for these sessions.
- If you are using slides (there is no requirement!) Drop your slide deck here no later than 17:00 UTC Wednesday 4 June and bring a backup to your presentation. Please use a telling filename that has your name in it (e.g. “Caitlin Perry – BoaF3D.pptx”).
- If your session is scheduled for the morning (10:30am CEST), please plan to arrive no later than 10:15am.
- If your session is scheduled for the afternoon (13:30pm CEST), please plan to arrive no later than 13:15pm.
- If you need a list of attendees for your session prior to the conference, or would like to send a pre-event message to registrants, please email caitlin.perry@iiif.io.
