Travel by air

• The most central airport to Amsterdam, Leiden, and The Hague is Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Trains from the airport are available to Leiden, The Hague, and Amsterdam.
• Rotterdam The Hague Airport is physically closer to Leiden and The Hague, and may offer more competitive fares for attendees traveling from within the Eurozone. Rotterdam The Hague Airport is serviced by metro line E.

Travel by train

• The nearest train station in Leiden is Leiden Centraal. 
• The nearest train station in Amsterdam is Amsterdam Centraal.
• The nearest train station in The Hague is Den Haag Centraal.
• Train time from Amsterdam Centraal to Leiden Centraal is 36-39 minutes. Train time from Leiden Centraal to Den Haag Centraal is 11-18 minutes.

Local Transportation

We recommend using https://www.ns.nl/en to plan your public transport journeys. You can check in or out of the train using your credit card, debit card, or mobile pay. Bicycle rental is available at each train station via the OV-fiets service.

Travel by ferry

Attendees of the Showcase on June 1 can take the (free) ferry to Buiksloterweg to the north of Amsterdam Centraal Station.

Accommodations

We have reserved rooms at a number of local hotels at reduced rates in Leiden for the main conference dates with flexible cancellation policies. Please contact the Leiden booking service to book longer stays at conference hotels.
